How To Use Sukin’s New Hydration Range

How To Use Sukin’s New Hydration Range

Dehydration is a skin state that no skin type is immune to. Whether your skin is dry, sensitive, combination or even oily, your skin can still suffer from dehydration. That’s right - oily skin can be dehydrated.

Put simply, dehydrated skin signals a lack of water, while dry skin is due to a lack of oil. The skin may be dry because the body isn’t producing enough oil (sebum), while dehydrated skin is often called by external factors and environmental stressors like the weather, heating and air conditioning and even diet.

Dry or oily skin is a skin type, while dehydration is a skin state that you can work to rectify- with the right products.

Is your skin dehydrated?

Regardless of your skin type, there are a few signs that may indicate that your skin is suffering from dehydration. If your skin is feeling tighter and more sensitive than usual, if it looks dull and lacks glow, or if signs of ageing (like fine lines and dark circles) are appearing more pronounced, your skin may be in need of a hydration hit.

Hydration Range

How do I hydrate my skin, naturally?

Following two years of extensive formula development trials, we have released our latest natural skincare innovation - the Sukin Hydration Range.

Redefining what is possible for natural skincare, our Hydration Range has been designed to deliver your skin with 72 hours of hydration, naturally. Harnessing the clinically proven, natural rehydrating powers of Maize Complex, Hyaluronic Acid and Sea Algae, the range provides instant hydration to the skin with clinical tests revealing up to 50% smoother feeling skin and up to a 50% reduction in skin flakiness in just two weeks.

Rehydrate your skin in four steps:

Begin your day by giving back to your skin. Hydrated skin is happy skin, so ensure your skin is well moisturised and its barrier strong before you set about your day.

Step 1. After gently cleansing the skin and ensuring it is dry, apply the Sukin Hydration Serum. Containing an active bio-marine blend of Sea Algae, Hyaluronic Acid and Maize Complex, this serum works to deeply rehydrate a tired complexion, naturally. One of the many benefits of using such concentrated, active naturals is that a little goes a long way, so only one pump of serum is necessary. Remember the “1 pump, 1-minute” rule - apply one pump of product in each step of your routine and allow each product to deeply hydrate each layer of the skin by waiting one minute before moving on to the next step.

Step 2. Having waited one minute, treat the eye area with the Sukin Hydration Eye Gel. A targeted eye treatment is essential in rehydrating the skin, given that some of the first and most apparent signs of dehydration appear around the eye area. The Bio-Marine Blend at the core of the entire Hydration range is at work in this formula, as well as Ginger Root and Peppermint Leaf Extract to cool and refresh the eye area.

Step 3. Lock in moisture by applying one pump of the Rehydrating Gel Cream. A Bio-Marine Blend of Sea Algae, Hyaluronic Acid and Maize Complex deeply rehydrate the skin, while the texture is light and comfortable enough to wear beneath makeup and sun protection.

Step 4. Complete your morning skin regimen with your preferred Sukin Sheer Touch SPF30 to deliver one additional layer of moisture to the skin while naturally protecting it from harsh UV rays.

Environmental stressors are often the root cause of dehydrated skin, so to reverse daily damage we recommend utilising an intensely hydrating, natural nighttime skincare routine.

Step 1. After thoroughly cleansing the skin, apply one pump of the Hydration Serum to restore lost moisture to the skin. Wait one minute to allow the product to absorb before moving on to the next step.

Step 2. Restore vitality and hydration to the delicate eye area, naturally, using the Hydration Eye Gel.

Step 3. Complete your evening routine with one pump of the Sukin Hydrafusion Night Cream. This overnight hydration treatment combines Sukin’s Bio-Marine hydrating blend with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to deliver antioxidants to the skin while you rest.

We hope this was helpful!
